Regulation for heating and cooling system
The smart wired thermostat can be connected to both heating system and cooling unit. In winter, the thermostat maintains the optimum temperature and avoids costly overheating. On hot summer days, the thermostat takes care of cooling without unpleasant temperature shocks. Enjoy the feeling of perfect comfort all year round. You can select a temperature range of 7 °C to 30 °C on the thermostat, which can be adjusted in increments as small as 0.2 °C.
The temperature calibration function also ensures that the readings displayed on the thermostat exactly match the readings from your favourite devices – such as a thermometer or weather station.
Thanks to the clever GPS function, the thermostat automatically turns on heating or cooling so that you are always greeted by the ideal temperature when you return. And if you go on holiday and forget to turn the heating down, no problem – you can adjust everything remotely at any time via the Mobile EMOS GoSmart App. Convenience, savings and security – wherever you are.
The smart thermostat P56S01 with 16A switched relay can control not only underfloor heating, but also devices with higher loads, such as infrared panels or direct-fired heaters. It offers up to 6 temperature programs per day plus 3 user-adjustable scenarios that you can easily adapt to your needs.
You can connect the thermostat to a boiler that supports OpenTherm communication. The advantage is that you can regulate boiler output not only by room temperature, but also by system water temperature or other variables. Switching occurs via OT as well as via relay. Most thermostats have either an OT output only or a relay output. The P56S01 smart thermostat has both outputs for connection to the boiler. The thermostat increases the efficiency of the heating system, reduces costs and is simple to install thanks to OT control.
The P56S01 thermostat combines practical functionality with a modern, timeless design that fits into any interior.The backlit touchscreen is clear and intuitive – the large digits make it easy to see the current and set temperature, and the backlight makes it comfortable to operate even at night without turning on the light. Plus, the thermostat supports Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant so you can control it with voice commands.
Mounting and connection to the EMOS GoSmart system
The smart thermostat P56S01 is equipped with a 3 metre long cable with temperature sensor, which thanks to its length can be conveniently placed in the floor to your underfloor heating. You then screw the thermostat installation pad into a suitable mounting box, connect the wires and temperature sensor cable according to the wiring diagram and finally attach the front cover. And you’re done! The P56S01 smart thermostat is powered from a 230 V AC mains power supply.
Then just connect the device to your home Wi-Fi network and pair it with the EMOS GoSmart mobile app, which is available for both Android and iOS.
