GoSmart Door Sensor

The smart door sensor is an innovative device designed to ensure your safety and comfort in everyday life. Through notifications in the mobile app , it immediately alerts you when a door or window is opened. Its main benefit is the ability to automate with other smart devices in your home.  You will no longer have to worry about whether you actually closed the windows or doors.

Easy installation

Use the 3M tape included in the package to attach the sensor to windows, doors, a security drawer, or even a refrigerator. Installation is very simple and quick, so it won’t take much of your time. Place the sensors no more than 10 mm apart; if the distance exceeds 10 mm, the sensor will immediately detect when the monitored area is opened and send a notification via the mobile app.

The smart sensor communicates via the wireless ZigBee 3.0 protocol. For proper operation, a compatible ZigBee gateway is therefore required, which connects the sensor to the mobile app and other smart devices.  The ZigBee gateway is not included in the package and must be purchased separately. For trouble-free operation, we recommend using our ZigBee gateway IP-2000Z (H5002), which is fully compatible and allows for easy pairing and a stable connection. Without a ZigBee gateway, the sensor cannot be used on its own or connected to a Wi-Fi network.

Control via the app

Place the sensor in the desired location, connect it to the ZigBee gateway and pair it with the EMOS GoSmart mobile app, which is available for both Android and iOS operating systems. Then, in the app, control the sensor exactly as you need. Set up automations, track statistics , and pair it with other smart devices. 

The sensor consists of two magnets that operate on the principle of magnetic closure. When the magnets are separated, the sensor detects that the monitored object has been opened. When they are brought together, it detects that the object has been closed. The sensor can be placed anywhere where you need to monitor the opening/closing of the monitored object. Not only on doors or windows, but also, for example, on a refrigerator, a security drawer, a safe, or a passageway for your pet. 

The main advantage of using GoSmart door sensors is their application in home automation. Automatically turning on lights when entering a room, turning off the heating when a window is opened, receiving a notification when a door is opened at a time when you don’t want it to be open, and many other scenarios will be no problem with our sensor.
