GoSmart door sensor

The smart door sensor is an innovative device designed to ensure your safety and comfort in everyday life. It immediately notifies you when a door or window is opened via a notification in the mobile app. Its main benefit is the ability to automate it with other smart devices in your home. You will no longer have to worry about whether you have actually closed the windows or doors.

Easy installation

Using the 3M tape included in the package, you can attach the sensor to windows, doors, safety drawers, or even refrigerators. Installation is very simple and quick, so it won’t take you long. Place the sensors no more than 10 mm apart. If the distance is greater than 10 mm, the sensor will immediately detect the opening of the monitored location and send a notification via the mobile app. The smart sensor communicates via the wireless ZigBee 3.0 protocol. For it to function properly, a compatible ZigBee gateway is required to connect the sensor to the mobile app and other smart devices.  The ZigBee gateway is not included in the package and must be purchased separately. For trouble-free operation, we recommend using our ZigBee IP-2000Z (H5002) gateway, which is fully compatible and allows for easy pairing and stable device connection. Without a ZigBee gateway, the sensor cannot be used independently or connected to a Wi-Fi network.

Control via the app

Place the sensor in the desired location, connect it to the ZigBee gateway and pair it with the EMOS GoSmart mobile app, which is available for Android and iOS operating systems. You can then control the sensor in the app according to your needs. Set up automation, track statistics, and pair with other smart devices.

The sensor consists of two magnets that work on the principle of switching. When they are separated, the sensor detects the opening of the monitored object. When they are brought closer together, it detects the closing. The sensor can be placed anywhere where you need to secure the opening/closing of the monitored object. Not only on doors or windows, but also, for example, on the refrigerator, security drawer, safe, or passageway for your pet.

The main advantage of using GoSmart door sensors is their use in home automation. Automatically turning on the lights when you enter a room, turning off the heating when you open a window, alerting you when a door is open when you don’t want it to be, and many other scenarios are no problem with our sensor.
